4/22/12 - Raghib Rocket Ismail

 Raghib "Rocket" Ismail is possibly my all-time favorite college football player.  The combination of his speed, his cool name, the Notre Dame mystique, and his background story had me hooked.  I found these two autographed magazines on eBay for a very reasonable price ($20 for both). 

4/7/12 - Jim Bouton

Ball Four by Jim Bouton is still considered one of the greatest sports books of all-time, even 40 years after its writing. Although I already owned a paperback copy, a couple of years ago I purchased a nice hardback copy at a library book sale for a $1. Since I had already read it, I had not bothered to really look through the hardback book until today. When I opened it up, I was pleasantly surprised to find it had been autographed by the author.
