9/11/18 - Jud Logan

Contacted Coach Jud Logan through the Ashland University Athletic Dept website and asked if he would be willing to sign his July 1986 Track & Field News cover, and he said of course.  He signed in an awesome gold Sharpie, and added an inscription of 4x Olympian and drew the Olympic rings, as well as a hammer.  He was also generous enough to send along two color photos also signed and inscribed.  I did some research before sending out the request and was surprised to find out he has a pretty impressive coaching tree.

8/31/18 - Anthony Davis

Found Anthony Davis' autobiography If My Nikes Could Talk at the used bookstore and picked it up for $5.50.  Has a great inscription with the "Notre Dame Killer" nickname.  This is my second Anthony Davis signed piece.  This book seems like it was published by
a small publishing house, but the forward to the book is written by Willie Mays.

8/25/18 - Dennis Byrd

Found a signed copy of Dennis Byrd's autobiography Rise and Walk at a used bookstore for $2.  The New York Jets player became paralyzed during a game in 1992, but eventually learned to walk again.  Tragically he was killed in a car accident in 2016.

5/28/18 - Brandi Chastain

Soccer star and owner of the most famous sports bra in history.  Another $1 used bookstore find.

5/11/18 - Bill Walsh

Picked up this book signed by the coach of the Super Bowl winning San Francisco 49er football teams and NFL HOFer for $1 at the used bookstore.
